Two young girls, students of Year 8 and Year 11 respectively were injured in an accident at Cunningham this morning.
The Year 8 student is in critical condition while the other is under observation
Pictures show the vehicle, a black taxi, which had veered off the road.
The driver is being questioned and he said he fell asleep.
Police say he is a holder of a learner’s permit only and was not supposed to be driving the taxi.
Investigations continue.
