Alleged serial rapist and murderer Josua Colanaudolu has told the High court today that he was sexually abused by police officers.
The 39 year old who is facing charges of rape and murder took the stand to give evidence in court today.
Colanaudolu also stated in court that the allegations against him are not true.
Colanaudolu claimed in Court today that he was forced by police officers to give answers during the caution interview.
Colanaudolu who appeared before high court Judge Justice Salesi Temo claims that he was forced to give answers throughout the caution interview when he was interrogated about the three rape cases and the rape and murder of the 14-year-old girl in Deuba.
Colanaudolu claims police officers assaulted and sexually abused him.
However , the court heard that the doctors report found no signs on him of assault and sexual abuse
He also alleged that the answers were fabricated and he was forced to sign on the caution interview.
Colanaudolu told the court that the police officers from the Navua Police Station made sure that they got the answers they were looking for.
He later said that the officers forced him to corporate and threatened him. He said this made him feel scared, confused, uneasy and weak. Questions were later asked about the reconstruction of the scene.
Colanaudolu then told the defence council that before he was taken to the reconstruction of the scene at Lepanoni village, he was taken inside a room at the Navua Police Station.
He told the court a white board was shown to him with sketches. He claimed one of the officers made him stand in front of the board and instructed Colanaudolu on what he will say in the video which was shown in court lastweek.
When asked if he had confessed to the Justice of Peace on the rape and murder of the 14 year old girl in Deuba, to which he responded no and that he told the Justice of Peace that he was assaulted by police officers.
Colanaudolu also claimed in court that the police, the doctor who examined him and victims who took the stand were making up things against him.
Colanaudolu is facing one count of murder, 6 counts of rape, 4 counts of abduction and one count of indecently annoying a female.
