Motorists are advised to take all necessary precautions along the main highways in the Western Division as the crushing season has commenced.
With a high number of fully loaded cane trucks anticipated to be using our busy roads, drivers and pedestrians are requested to adhere to all road rules and be mindful of their safety.
Overtaking these trucks is also advised against as in the past such practice has led to accidents.
We are pleading with all road users to assist us as we cannot be everywhere to monitor everyone’s behavior and we need your help in keeping our roads safe.
