The Fiji Police Force took time out to thank two Togovere Villagers in assisting Police in arresting two escape prisoners from Korovou Remand Centre in November, 2016.
The Western Division management team along with the Fiji Police Band paid a curtsey visit to Togovere Village as a token of appreciation.
Fiji Police Chief of Operations, Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said people shouldn’t let evil over rule them.
He stressed that everyone should continue to speak out against crime and take actions so that all bad intentions don’t prevail.
ACP Tudravu added that the courage showed by the two had made work easier for Police Officers and had brought about relief to the victims of the said crime.
He has called on Togovere Village to get behind the Fiji Police Force and support all men and women officers especially in Rakiraki and Tavua.
