Access to the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) services has now been made easy with LTA’s online services readily available anywhere and at any time for the general public.
The general public can now carry out LTA transactions such as applications for their Learner’s Permit or make payments for their Traffic Infringement Notices (TINs) with LTA’s newly launched online services.
This new online platform will not only immediately connect to LTA’s customers but also provide more efficient and effective customer-friendly services, avail timely access to LTA services and save customers’ time from long queues at LTA offices.
The services accessible through the LTA online services will include:
Learner’s Permit Application
Driver License Renewal
Defensive Driving Course Classroom Learning
Payment of Traffic Infringement Notices (TINs)
Defensive Driving Course Online Learning
Inspection Booking and Vehicle Renewal- Valelevu Branch
Fee Calculator
LTA registered customers can also search and view details of their expiry dates for vehicle registration renewal, Public Service Vehicle Permit, Driver License Renewal and Defensive Driving Course renewal.
Moreover, customers can also update their personal details such as change in addresses or phone contacts.
LTA e-services will also allow registered customers to receive notifications and reminders of renewals prior to expiration of customer registrations, license or TINs.
The LTA Board Chairman, Mr. Vijay Maharaj, said the new online service to the customers was a milestone achievement for LTA and provided customers easy and effortless access to LTA’s services ensuring a time saver.
“Having availed LTA on an online platform gives our valued customers access to the LTA products and services, and at the same time allows them to keep updated and connected with our services regularly,” Mr. Maharaj said.
In addition, he said the online platform will have a wider reach to the customers knowing that they can have all the information related to LTA at their fingertips just by accessing the service on their mobile phones or computers.
Mr. Maharaj also thanked the team of LTA staffs who have worked hard over the past few months to meet the deadline of launching the LTA online services.
