SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka is urging party leaders to get involved in the party’s preparation efforts towards the 2018 general elections.
Rabuka says Opposition Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa has heeded the call of her Vanua to once again stand in the election and they look forward to Ro Teimumu Kepa continuing her great work as far as recognizing and acknowledging the descendants of the Girmitiyas program and other development initiatives in Rewa.
Rabuka spoke at a meeting with Ro Teimumu Kepa, and also present were candidates Tanya Waqanika and Lynda Tabuya.
Rabuka adds the party is united and stronger than ever and is raring to win the elections this year and take Fiji forward.
Meanwhile Kepa says she is happy and proud of the selected SODELPA women candidates which includes Dr. Mere Samisoni, Salote Rdarodro, Mere Ratunabuabua and Lynda Tabuya as they are role models not only for their children, but for their granddaughters.
The opposition leader has pledged her full support to the SODELPA women candidates and hopes the decision‑makers can bring more women to the party.
