A man alleged to have raped a 12 year old girl in Lakena last week has been charged.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the accused has been charged with one count of abduction of person under 18yrs with intent to have carnal knowledge, wrongful confinement, indecently annoying any person, assault with intent to commit rape and rape.
The accused will be appearing at the Nausori Magistrates Court this morning.
