The case against convicted businessman Feroz Jan Mohammad on the forfeiture of property obtained by T F Jan Limited using $3.1million of the proceeds will now be called in 6 weeks’ time.
The interested parties in this case are the Shareholders of TF Jan Bulldozing Company Limited, FIFA Holdings Ltd, Tropik Forest Joint Venture Co. Ltd and Bank of Baroda, Ba Branch to name a few.
According to the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption these interested parties and others had dealings with the convict from the proceeds of the crime he committed.
Feroz Jan is currently serving an 8 year sentence after he was convicted of bribery and obtaining financial advantage from the Fiji Roads Authority.
The Judge has directed all interested parties to file their response within the six weeks.
