Tourism industry looks forward to a good year

The tourism industry is looking forward to a good year with high hopes to record another increase in the annual visitor arrivals.
Despite the devastation of Tropical Cyclone Winston and the tropical depressions during the year visitor arrivals recorded an increase.
Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association President Dixon Seeto says even though natural disasters are not preventable, the tourism industry will be taking precautions for the benefit of our visitors.
The launching of a number of hotels and resorts this year have also predicted good earnings for the industry.
More resorts are expected to begin operations this year
