For some parents it was an overwhelming start to the day, as their children began with year one studies.Thirty Four year old Ronyl Narayan who lost his wife 5 years ago to cancer, today prepared his son Aiden for year one studies.
It was a day of many firsts for him and son Aiden, a new beginning in his single parent journey.
“I am very excited my son has entered year one of formal education and I am very happy, I miss my late wife on this day also.”
Aiden will begin his educational journey at the Rishikul Primary School in Nasinu.
