These were the closing remarks by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at the closing of the UN Oceans Conference at the UN headquarters in New York.
Bainimarama mentioned our oceans and seas are under unprecedented threat and thanked the world for giving a Small Island Developing State such a big voice as Co-Chair of this conference to amplify our collective concerns.
The Prime Minister reminded delegates and participants on the importance of this conference and the need to implement its outcomes and commitments.
