The Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Lands and Mineral Resources Faiyaz Siddiq Koya received a courtesy call from the Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation for the Pacific, Ambassador Julian Wilson.
Koya met with Ambassador Wilson at his office in Suva where they discussed about areas of cooperation in investment, trade, tourism and agriculture.
Ambassador Wilson assured our minister that he was committed to strengthening relations and enhancing future development cooperation between Fiji and the EU during his 4-year term here.
Koya mentioned Fiji was open for business and as the hub of the Pacific region, the Fijian economy was geared towards expanding trade and export base with other countries in a sustainable manner.
