A 14 year old girl who was allegedly abducted and raped over 3 days by a taxi driver continued to reveal details about the ordeal in the Suva High court.
The trial of the 33 year old taxi driver continued into its second day today.
An 18-year-old victim who was allegedly raped in January, 2014 told the Suva High Court that the accused told her he was good friends with Dip Chand -a serial rapist and murderer of the Lata sisters.
The 33 year old taxi driver- Umendra Kumar is charged with one count of abduction and three counts of rape.
While revealing the ordeal in court, the woman broke down in tears.
She claims Kumar threatened to kill her and told her if she told anyone about the incident he would cut her up and leave her body parts on the mountain.
She claimed Kumar threatened her that “If his good friend Dip Chand could do that than so can he”
It is alleged that Umendra Kumar had abducted the 14 year old girl from Nasinu and took her to Nadi, Lautoka and Rakiraki and raped her on three separate days.
The alleged incidents took place on the 11th, 12th and 13th of January 2014.
